Why the numbers
A pen is a physical object you will hold for hours. Whether you like it comes down to weight, diameter, balance and how the nib meets paper, and none of those are adjectives. So every product page gives you the measurements and leaves the adjectives to you.
What we do not do
No limited editions, no numbered runs, no gold nibs at six hundred dollars. Every pen here is meant to go in a pocket and come out with scratches, at a price where that does not hurt.
How we choose
Six materials. Refill and cartridge standards you can buy at any stationer, so a pen from us never depends on us. Wearing parts sold singly, so a worn nib or a tired converter is a small purchase and not a new pen.
